"Who are we?"
We are a small company that manufactures and distributes herbal remedies for equines. We are located in middle TN in the United States of America. As head herbalist and founder of Meadowsweet Acres , I am a very knowledgeable horse owner and we have many horses here on our farm who live on our formulas. Over the years, our clientele has grown to include several large racing barns, Olympic level dressage horses, event horses, barrel racing champions, grand prix jumpers, and the backyard companion horse. I was a certified herbalist long before I started this company and when my own horse became ill with EPM, I then decided to turn my herbal interests into helping other equines. Our company has been around longer then any other equine herbal company in the US today, and there is a very good reason for that, our formulas really do help.  

"How are we different?"
We are different, because our herbs are hand mixed just for you and your horse when you place your order. Our blends are not massed produced overseas and then left to sit on a ship or loading dock. 99% of the herbs used in our blends are grown and harvested here in the US, 90% or greater are certified organic when available, so there is no danger of contamination from  overseas pesticides. You are guaranteed a very fresh product. Due in part that we are BOTH the manufacturer and distributor, we have eliminated several middlemen and in doing so, you get a top notch product at a very affordable and competitive price. We use NO fillers, NO soy , NO alfalfa bases, NO colorants, NO preservatives and NO cheap herbal fillers. Our product is pure herb, plain and simple. When you buy a bucket of our herbs, you are guaranteed a pure product. And these blends have been developed by the owner who is a certified herbalist . If you come across a similar product at a ridiculously low price, there is probably a reason for it. We maintain strict quality control and purchase of our herbs from sources with the same high standards we believe in.
